Synopsis
Up to a third of young people in the UK have sex before the age of 16: the UK has one of the highest teenage conception rates in the developed world, and one in ten of young poeple are estiamted to suffer from a sexually-transmitted infection. This paper argues that Britain is failing to meet the sexual health needs of its teenagers and suggests teenage sexual health be established as a public health priority.
