Synopsis
Contains a selection of statistics describing the health status of women, their use of health services and health related aspects of their lifestyle. The majority of statistics are drawn form the 1989-90 National Health Survey, and include information about the use of screening services and techniques for breast and cervical cancer. Health of various population groups (e.g. ethnic women, the elderly) is also examined.
